In 2021 and 2022, I have been elected as a student member of the faculty council of EEMCS, initially with an independent party and later on behalf of UReka. In 2023 I have joined the program committee of Electrical Engineering and Embedded Systems.

Internship as part of my Master's degree in Embedded Systems at the University of Twente. I worked on expanding ethernet PHY support in the functional hardware description language Clash.

Student assistant in multiple courses including and as open days coordinator responsible for the program (in collaboration with staff), preparation, and managing a team of students for the open days of B-EE.

Treasurer of the 91st board of E.T.S.V. Scintilla. My daily tasks included handling invoices and working with several committees as the board contact person. Besides this, I was responsible for keeping the financial books in order and drafting a budget.

I am one of the core members of the committee responsible for writing the political program for the municipality elections in 2026 for the joint list of GroenLinks-PvdA in Enschede.

I am a member of the advisory board and I am part of the financial audit committee. Previously I have been the secretary of the committee that organizes the biannual congress, the treasurer of the chapter in Overijssel and a political advisor on privacy and technology.

I am or have been active in various positions at several committees including the board, the advisory board, the financial audit committee and the educational committee. I have also organized fun activities such as the yearly Christmas dinner and the faculty introduction days, and I was a seller at Scintilla's volunteer-run electronics shop, STORES.

I was one of the 19 participants of Scintilla's study tour project, SPOCK7, which has traveled to South Korea in October 2023, and the chair of the financial committee where I was in charge of all finances of the study tour including budgeting, subsidies and administration.
