The next two years I will be working at three different organizations within the Rijksoverheid as a Rijks I-Trainee in the ICT track. For my first assignment I worked at the Ministerie van Justitie en Veiligheid, and currently I’m working at the Belastingdienst.

In 2021 and 2022, I was elected as a student member of the faculty council of EEMCS, initially with an independent party and later on behalf of UReka. In 2023 I have joined the program committee of EE/EmSys.

Internship as part of my Master’s degree in Embedded Systems at the University of Twente. I worked on expanding ethernet PHY support in the functional hardware description language Clash.

Teaching assistant

Teaching assistant for multiple courses in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Biomedical Engineering and Robotics, and as the open day coordinator, where I was responsible for the program (in collaboration with staff), preparation, and managing a team of 15+ students for the open days of B-EE.

Advisory board
DWARS, GroenLinkse Jongeren

Secretary of the advisory board (raad van advies) of DWARS, elected at the summer congress in 2025. My portfolios are participation and democracy, and articles of association and bylaws. Besides the regular work of the advisory board, this year has a specific focus on the upcoming merger with the Jonge Socialisten.

GroenLinks Enschede

I was one of the core members of the committee responsible for writing the political program for the 2026 municipality elections for the joint list of GroenLinks-PvdA, which resulted in GroenLinks-PvdA becoming the biggest party in Enschede with 8 seats in the council.

I was one of the 19 participants of Scintilla's study tour project, SPOCK7, which has traveled to South Korea in October 2023, and the chair of the financial committee where I was in charge of the finances of the study tour including budgeting, subsidies and administration.

Treasurer of the 91st board of E.T.S.V. Scintilla. My daily tasks included handling invoices and working with several committees as the board contact person. Besides this, I was responsible for keeping the financial books in order and drafting a budget.
