The coming two years I will be doing three assignments at organizations within the Rijksoverheid as a Rijks I-Trainee in the ICT track. For my first assignment I'm working at the Ministry of Justice and Security.

Participatory councils

In 2021 and 2022, I was elected as a student member of the faculty council of EEMCS, initially with an independent party and later on behalf of UReka. In 2023 I have joined the program committee of EE/EmSys.

Internship as part of my Master’s degree in Embedded Systems at the University of Twente. I worked on expanding ethernet PHY support in the functional hardware description language Clash.

Student assistant in multiple courses including Circuit Analysis (2018-2019), Programming 2 (2019-2021), Embedded Control System Implementation (2022-2023) and Advanced Software Development for Robotics (2023-2024).

Open days coordinator
University of Twente, part-time

Responsible for the program (in collaboration with staff), preparation, and managing a team of 15+ students for the open days of B-EE. During the pandemic I was tasked with implementing the switch to online open days, and I have continued to help with technical support into 2022.

Advisory board
DWARS, GroenLinkse Jongeren

Secretary of the advisory board (raad van advies) of DWARS, elected at the summer congress in 2025. My portfolios are participation and democracy, articles of association and bylaws, and I’m the contact person for the secretary of the board. Besides the regular work of the advisory board, this year has a specific focus on the upcoming merger with the Jonge Socialisten.

SPOCK7, Age of Technology

I was one of the 19 participants of Scintilla's study tour project, SPOCK7, which has traveled to South Korea in October 2023, and the chair of the financial committee where I was in charge of the finances of the study tour including budgeting, subsidies and administration.

Board treasurer

Treasurer of the 91st board of E.T.S.V. Scintilla. My daily tasks included handling invoices and working with several committees as the board contact person. Besides this, I was responsible for keeping the financial books in order and drafting a budget.
